Jason Forster

No one quite remembers, but legend has it Jason was handed 1s Captaincy on the returning clubbers bus at 3am by a drunk Louis Barrett. With help from his loud-mouthed sidekick, Jason had two year groups from which to select a team which could push for promotion from Division 1. Heavy weather forced the games onto all 3 surfaces at various points, and Constantine couldn't quite make the promotion place either term.
Below are the best players Jason had in his year as Captain.

Dom Crane
"Asked to step up before he was ready because we needed him, and he delivered."
Victor Florez
"Technically sound and strong athletic ability. His defending wasn't perfect but you'd never worry about him on the ball."
Jason Forster (Captain)
Max Lancaster
"Max won nearly every game he played for Constantine 1s and we were lucky to have him."
Tof Odusolu
"The best physical attributes of any CAFC defender, and 100% commitment to the team every week."
Nick Banks
"Every Captain goes through mild torture trying to pick consistent defenders. Nick didn't grab headlines but he could play a season hardly making a single mistake."
Luke Shove
"When our best players were unavailable, we could often rely on Luke to become the match-winner with one of those trademarked top corner strikes from distance."
Matt Coathup
"One week Matt could only get to the game for the second half, so I set the team up in neutral to stalemate the first half into a 0-0. Matt arrived just before half time, came on for the second half and won the game 4-0 as if it was easy."
Ed Richards
"Not the most technically or physically impressive player ever but we needed him at every game because he will not stop trying until the game is won, and he knows how to get it done."
Will Gibbs
"I maintain his best position is actually a number 10 but there's plenty of evidence to suggest Will is the best out and out striker the club has had."
Jack Cooper
"When he arrived he could score goals, when he left he was the complete winger."
Bench
Ben Froughi
"No one understands 'doing a job for the team' more than this guy. All he cares about on match-day is winning."
Christian Loveless
"2s Captain at the time and an excellent option to fill in when needed."
Josh Alfonso
"Plenty of potential when he arrived but he never lived up to it."
Jack Collins
"If he could've been motivated he would've been untouchable."
Josh Miernik
"Could score goals for fun in the lower leagues and he was 50/50 to start in the 1s every week over 2015/16 despite being a fresher."
