Ed Little

As a player, Ed demonstrated time and again that no matter the surface, the weather or the opponent, he could slot into any team and perform. When the chance came, he successfully ran for 4s Captain and won re-election for his final year just a few months later. One of the club's most well-liked figures signed off with a perfect final season of 6 wins.

Ed has selected the best team over his year and a half as 4s Captain.

Cameron Loads

"acrobatic saves stopped would-be screamers on numerous occasions, he has a lot of potential to progress"

John Moody

"a defender who only ever wanted to get up the pitch, bullied opposition players for the ball before leaving them for dust"

Kieran McConaghy

"self assured and wouldn’t put a foot wrong, able to soak up pressure to leave space in midfield and play out from the back with pinpoint accuracy"

Christian Mills

"a fantastic leader, commanding the back line and motivating the team to perform to the best of their abilities"

Sam McKinnon

"a committed player who pushed through injury and illness, liked to get stuck in and never let a winger beat him in a 50/50"

Danilo Mrvaljevic

"An absolute workhouse in midfield, never stopped running, never complained, got the job done. Massively consistent and put in a good performance week in, week out."

Seb Nunns

"Agile and frighteningly fast, loved nothing more than beating his man. A very selfless player who looked to help the team in any way possible rather than chasing personal glory."

Ed Little (Captain)

Dylan Muggleton

"Tireless and versatile, he excelled in any position in the front line. Rapid player, blink and he’d be one on one with the keeper. Cool in front of goal and took his chances with precision and confidence."

Luke Osborn

"classy player, technically brilliant and great football brain, made opposition players look silly"

Telis Vassiliou

"A prolific goalscorer who always managed to get the goals when it mattered. Created so many chances on his own, and his work rate and hold up play were invaluable in his time in the 4s"

Bench

Ashraf Ahmed

"A fresher really coming into form by the end of the year. Brilliant reader of the game. Comfortable in defence and midfield, with a bright future at CAFC."

Joe Humphreys

"Made life difficult for rival midfielders and showed them who was boss. Crunching tackles, mostly legal, were his speciality. Put his body on the line for the 4s."

Tadhg Lynch

"A big player at the start of my stint as captain. Covered every blade of grass and was first to every header. Made life easy as a midfield teammate."

Will Castle

"The absolute definition of super sub. Energetic and determined, he pressed the opposition defence within an inch of its life and could nick a goal from the smallest opportunity. Loved the club and always put the team first."

George Tassou

"Another selfless worker. Agile dribbler, always looking to create chances and set up teammates."
